Honouring Karl’s Memory: Core Telecom Donates £1,000

Core Telecom is proud to support this year’s BMK Golf Day, with our Chairman, Mahmood Mazhar, making a generous £1,000 donation towards the event.

The BMK Golf Day was created in memory of Karl Humphreys, who sadly passed away on 3rd November 2024. Karl was a beloved son, husband, brother, uncle and son-in-law, but above all, he was remembered as a genuinely kind and much-loved person who touched the lives of so many.

In Karl’s memory, his family created the BMK Golf Day, bringing together family, friends, businesses and the local community to celebrate his life while raising much-needed funds for Pennyhooks Farm Trust. This is a charity dedicated to providing people on the autistic spectrum with unique experiences and development opportunities.

As a family-run organisation ourselves, we understand the importance of coming together, supporting one another and giving back to the communities around us. We know that events like the BMK Golf Day are about much more than fundraising, they bring people together, create lasting memories and help turn something incredibly difficult into something positive.

The team behind the event shared what the support means to them:

“There are no words that quite capture what this support means to us. Every donation, whether it’s a prize, sponsorship, a contribution or simply someone giving their time, helps us turn what is an incredibly emotional day for our family into something positive and meaningful.”

Mahmood was keen to support the event and the important work behind it, helping Karl’s family continue his legacy by making a positive difference to others. At Core Telecom, we’re honoured to play a small part in supporting this special event and helping raise vital funds for Pennyhooks Farm Trust.
