Light Heavyweight Champion boxer Bob Ajisafe has become part of the Core Telecom family, after agreeing a sponsorship deal which will support him on his quest for the British Title.
Ajisafe is the latest champion to come out of the famous IngleGym in Sheffield, having defended his current title in a televised fight in December.
As he gears up to fight for the British Title, Core Telecom has stepped in to become Bob’s main sponsor and provide vital financial support. The agreement will ensure that Bob has access to the best facilities and equipment in the build up to the big fight.
Core Telecom will be contributing to his living costs, travelling expenses, training kit and fight wear – this includes his ring robe, shorts and t-shirts.
Upon signing the agreement, Bob commented: “I’m excited to have the backing of Core Telecom, at this time in my career. I’ll do my utmost best to represent the brand in the best way and hope I can repay the support with great success!”
Mahmood Mazhar, Core Telecom’s Chief Executive, was delighted to provide support: “It’s fantastic that we have been able to step in and support Bob. We have a proud history of supporting various events and individuals and we hope for a long and successful partnership.”
Core’s agreement with Bob Ajisafe adds to the support they have provided to Team GB Weightlifter Sonny Webster, and Manuel Postigo who runs a kick boxing club in Spain.
