Core Telecom’s Marketing Chief becomes a member of Institute of Directors

Leeds-based Core Telecom’s Director of Marketing has joined the Institute of Directors.

Richard Griffiths, who moved to Core Telecom from Hull-based KC in January this year, has more than a decade of sales, marketing and communications experience within the telecoms industry. He is also well known in the Yorkshire business community as the former regional Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

He joins Core Telecom’s Chief Executive, Mahmood Mazhar, as a member of the IoD in Yorkshire.

Richard commented: “Joining the IoD is an excellent opportunity. Not only will it raise the profile of Core Telecom but we will be involved with promoting the interests of Yorkshire businesses – something that is close to our hearts. I am proud to be involved with an organisation that does so much for businesses in our region.”

The IoD Yorkshire Region has almost 2,500 members with active branches in South, East, West and North Yorkshire and organises a lively programme of local and regional events for members and guests.
