Dreams & Wishes Christmas Lunch at Celtic Manor

On Friday December 7th Dreams & Wishes hosted their big Christmas Lunch at Celtic Manor Resort near Cardiff.

As part of our long standing relationship with Dreams & Wishes, Core Telecom provided vital support after our Chief Executive Mahmood Mazhar stepped in as the main sponsor to ensure the event went ahead.

The day was a massive success, with over 335 attendees which featured both charity representatives and business directors from across the UK.

The afternoon included a three course Christmas meal, a charity auction and raffle, with a special appearance for stand up comedian Russell Kane. Tony Curis MBE, the co-founder of Dreams &  Wishes also greeted the attendees. He also invited Corris Davies to the stage who recently became a Young Ambassador of the charity.

The auction featured signed memorabilia from Cardiff City FC who donated a signed team photo. Plus, Swansea City FC donated a match shirt signed by the whole team. Another top item was a signed Wales Rugby shirt signed by the current squad.

Following our sponsorship and success of the day Mr Mazhar commented: “I’m delighted Core Telecom has been able to once again support Dreams and Wishes. Our whole team is proud of our work with them and I hope a fantastic day was had by all who attended.”
