The Lord Mayor of Leeds attended Telemedia 360, a major international conference which was staged in Leeds for the first time this week.
The annual conference was attended by both UK and international delegates from across the media and marketing sectors.
The Lord Mayor said that attracting visitors to the city is much needed in a recession and he was “very grateful for staging the T360 conference in Leeds and Yorkshire”.
Core Telecom’s efforts, which were instrumental in the organisers’ decision to stage T360 in Yorkshire for the first time, were also highlighted when he said “May I take the opportunity to thank Mahmood Mazhar, Chief Executive of Core Telecom, for helping to bring the conference to our city. Core Telecom is a good example of Yorkshire’s businesses – ambitious, hardworking, innovative and passionate about the success of the region”.
