Core Telecom helps in the detection of skin cancer by making a generous donation to cancer charity Brown Dog.
Formed in 2000 by ex cancer patient Mark Storer with Anil Patel and Peter Little, the charity aids men, women and children of all ages who suffer from cancer.
Their most recent endeavour sees them raising money in a bid to purchase a Cancer Dermoscopy Imaging System (Molemax 111) for Leicester Royal Infirmary, National Skin Cancer Centre and University Hospital. The device would help in the early detection of skin cancer, enhancing diagnostic and surveillance skills. A total of £50,000 needs to be raised by the charity, through a combination of fundraising events and sponsorship.
Mahmood Mazhar, Chief Executive of Core Telecom understands the need to detect cancer early “human life is priceless so any donation we can make to help save lives is worthwhile. We are happy to support Brown Dog and wish them luck with all future ventures.”
