Today signals that there is just one week to go until Core Telecom’s Halloween party to raise money for Dreams & Wishes.
Dream & Wishes was set up to bring joy to the lives of seriously ill children, and provide vital support to the families who find themselves in very challenging situations.
Through our Chief Executive Mahmood Mazhar, Core Telecom has been involved with Dreams & Wishes since the charity launched in 2011. Mr Mazhar played a central role in this by giving the charity their first major donation, and this signalled the start of a long term partnership.
Since then Dreams & Wishes has been given full use of the Core Telecom Network, this includes a highly memorable phone number and call management services. They have also received marketing support, and Core organised the creation of their website. In addition the Core Telecom team has done fund raising through various initiatives including charity bike rides and the Leeds Half Marathon.
To continue this great work, Mr Mazhar has organised a Halloween Party in Leeds City Centre in Norman Bar, Call Lane. The party will take place on Thursday October 25th, with the fun kicking off at 8pm. Tickets for the event are priced at £10 each, with 100% of all proceeds from ticket sales going directly to Dreams & Wishes.
Upon announcing the final plans for the Halloween Party Mr Mazhar commented: “Dreams & Wishes is a fantastic charity and I’m really proud to be able to continue supporting their work. The Halloween Party promises to be a fantastic night for all who attend. We are looking to raise as much money as possible on the night and I guarantee every penny spent on tickets will go directly to the charity.”
Sian Kosinki who co-founded the charity stated: “As a charity Dreams & Wishes are completely reliant on financial support. My work with the charity is such an inspiration and we are so grateful for the continued support of both Mahmood and everyone at Core Telecom.”
Tickets for the party are available from Norman Bar directly, either email the events manager: [email protected] or give them a call on 0872 080 8000.
